Beloved Bundles with the Zonta Club of Huntington
Please mark your calendars for the next Zonta Club of Huntington, W.V. (now forming) event.
We will be assembling Beloved Bundles (clothing and personal hygiene items) for the CONTACT Rape Crisis Center in Huntington on Tuesday, April 28th, at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church at 520 11th Street, Huntington, WV 25701. Light snacks will be provided.
Beloved Bundles are given to survivors of sexual assault following a forensic exam where their clothing is seized for evidence. All of the items for the Bundles are donated by Project Beloved.
Before assembling the Bundles and to highlight April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we will also have a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) share her insights on the role of the Nurse Examiner and the prevalence of sexual assault in the Huntington area.
