Comprehensive Prevention Programs Combat Sexual Violence
In decades past, prevention focused on “stranger danger” or telling women not to drink, but new evidence shows us that strategies like this don’t work. Now, sexual violence prevention focuses on promoting positive social norms, teaching skills, providing empowerment opportunities, creating protective environments, and supporting survivors.
CONTACT provides prevention education free of charge to schools, organizations, and individuals.
