CONTACT staff and volunteers are active throughout our community working to spread the word about the needs of people who have experienced sexual assault or stalking and the services that are available to them. We regularly provide information tables on area campuses, medical facilities and at community events.
In addition to our Prevention Education program for all ages, CONTACT staff are available to give presentations and professional trainings to schools, businesses, faith-based organizations and community groups on a variety of topics including:

Our staff collaborates with other professionals to improve the coordination of services to victims of sexual assault through initiatives such as the Sexual Assault Response Teams of Cabell and Mason counties which are coordinated by CONTACT staff.

We partner with Branches Domestic Violence Shelter, Marshall University Women’s Center and Marshall University Women’s Studies Program on projects to mark Stalking Awareness Month (January), RAINN Day (September), Dating Violence Awareness Month (February), and Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April).
